Anns Visit and Baby Shower

On July 9th, all of my good friends from high school got together for a dinner/baby shower. I was so excited that everyone could make it! Jodi was back from Tennessee and Ann was back from Arizona! It was so good to catch up with everyone!

I had another ultrasound today. My ultrasound technician said everything looks great! Here are the pictures that they gave me. They are a little blurry but I thought I would post them anyways. :)

USA Volleyball vs. Spain

Marcus and I went to the USA men's volleyball game on July 12th. USA won in 4 games against Spain. They are headed to the Olympics in about a month.

Almost 30 weeks!!!!

Abby came back to Illinois for a visit so we met up for a late lunch at her favorite restaurant, Noodles and Company.

Baby Girl

Well it is official! We are having a little baby girl!

Yesterday, June 17th, we had a 3D ultrasound at baby reflections. It was the neatest thing! We spent about a half hour looking at our baby move and kick around. Here are some of the pictures from the ulrasound.

IT's A....Boy? Girl?

Well at 2:00 today, we headed into the doctor's to find out what little peanut was...

We promptly got into see the ultrasound technician, Amy, and waited for about 15 minutes while Amy took a bunch of measurements. The little peanut weighed 1 pound and was in the 64 percentile. After she took the measurements of the baby we got to see the little head and body. While we were viewing the ultra sound, the baby had its feet crossed up above it's head. It was quite a sight. We saw the eyes, the little mouth and tongue moving, the four chambers of the heart, the little ribs, the kidneys, the bladder, the spine, and the arms and legs moving. Unfortunatly, because the legs were up in front of the body...she could not tell 100% if it was a girl or a boy...BUT she thinks it is a girl. :)

So hopefully on Wednesday we are going to go get a 3D ultrasound. If we are unable to get an ultrasound on Wednesday, we will have to wait another 6 weeks.
